Itinerary
Day 1 :
Bagdogra / NJP – Darjeeling
Today morning arrive at Bagdogra airport / NJP railway station & drive to Darjeeling. Darjeeling is famous throughout the world for the tea it grows and the great view of the Kanchenjunga range of mountains that it offers. It is also known for its richness in cultural & natural heritage and the famous toy train that has been declared a UN heritage. Check into hotel on arrival & rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 2 :
Darjeeling local sightseeing
Today early morning we visit Tiger Hill to enjoy a mesmerising sunrise on the Kanchenjunga Ranges. Followed by a visit to Batasia Loop, Ghoom Monastery, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Zoological Park and Tenzing Rock. Later we visit the Tea Estates where we get to click photos in the tea garden as well as taste local Darjeeling Tea. Evening is free for shopping. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 3 :
Darjeeling – Namchi – Darjeeling
After breakfast proceed to Namchi to visit the Chardham Temple – also known as Siddheshwar Dham where we can witness one of the tallest statue of Lord Shiva and Samdruptse Monastery to view the statue of Guru Padmasambhava with a height of 135ft. Drive back to hotel in Darjeeling & rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.
Day 4 :
Darjeeling – Gangtok
After breakfast checkout from hotel & drive to Gangtok. It has an amazing view of mount Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain peak in the world. Also, like everything around it, Gangtok is abundant in natural beauty and has various natural attractions such as the Tsomgo Lake, Ban Jhakri falls, Tashi viewpoint and more. Check into hotel on arrival & rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 5 :
Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Gangtok
After breakfast proceed to visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir – a holy shrine honouring Indian army soldier, folk hero and saint Baba Harbhajan Singh. Later we visit Tsomgo Lake – a high altitude scenic lake considered to be sacred by the Sikkimese. Drive back to hotel & rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight at Gangtok.
Day 6 :
Gangtok local sightseeing
After breakfast drive for a local sightseeing covering Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Ranka Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 7 :
Gangtok – Bagdogra / NJP
After breakfast checkout from hotel & drive to Bagdogra airport / NJP railway station for your onward journey. Here tour ends with happy memories…!
