| Today at 5:00 PM we will be leaving Mumbai Central for Delhi by 12951 Tejas Express. Please be at the station at least 45 minutes before to avoid the rush after the train. The journey will be by night train. |
| This morning, arrive at Delhi Airport or Railway Station and proceed towards Haridwar. Haridwar is one of the seven holiest cities in India, known for its spiritual significance, ancient temples, and the sacred Ganga River. The Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri is especially renowned—witness thousands of devotees offering floating lamps while chanting mantras during this mesmerizing ritual. Haridwar is considered the gateway to the Char Dham Yatra and is a major pilgrimage destination. Temples like Mansa Devi, Chandi Devi, and Daksheswar Mahadev attract devotees from all over the country. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and later proceed to experience the enchanting Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. The rest of the time is free for relaxation |
After an early breakfast, proceed to Jankichatti (45 km). From here, begin your first mountain trek to Yamunotri (6 km one way). Devotees who wish to hire ponies or palanquins must arrange for them at their own expense (Approx. Pony – ₹4000, Palanquin – ₹8000). After darshan and rituals, return to Barkot via the same route. Dinner and overnight stay in Barkot. About Yamunotri: Yamunotri is the source of the Yamuna River. According to mythology, Yamuna is the twin sister of Yama (the god of death) and the daughter of the Sun god. The actual source is the Champasar glacier, located about 1 km beyond the temple at an altitude of 4,321 meters. Upon arrival, bathe in the sacred Yamuna and offer prayers. |
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Uttarkashi, a town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River known for its temples, ashrams, and historical monuments. En route, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. On arrival in Uttarkashi/Netala, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Uttarkashi. |
| Early morning, depart for Gangotri. Upon arrival, take a holy dip in the Ganga River (called Bhagirathi at its origin). After darshan and rituals, return to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay in Uttarkashi. About Gangotri Temple: The 18th-century temple is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and stands near the sacred stone where King Bhagirath is said to have meditated to bring the Ganges to earth. This is believed to be the point where Ganga first touched the earth. |
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Guptkashi, located around 47 km from the sacred Kedarnath Temple. Guptkashi is spiritually significant and known for ancient temples like Vishwanath and Ardhnarishwar. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel/camp in Guptkashi.
Early morning, check out from the hotel and leave your luggage at the reception. Proceed to Sonprayag. From here, take a local jeep/shared vehicle (at your own expense) to Gaurikund (2 km). Begin the trek to Kedarnath (19 km one way). Reach Kedarnath by evening and attend the evening Aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
After morning rituals, check out and begin the return trek to Gaurikund. Coordinate with your driver to meet you at Sonprayag/Fata/Sersi as per the agreed time. Dinner and overnight stay in Guptkashi.
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath and Pipalkoti. Upon arrival at Pandukeshwar/Badrinath, check in to the hotel. If time permits, visit the Badrinath Temple.About Badrinath:
Badrinath is a highly revered pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu is situated at an altitude of 3,133 meters. Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund (hot springs) before proceeding for darshan in the evening.
If you couldn't visit the temple the previous day, go for darshan and rituals this morning. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Rudraprayag / Srinagar. En route, witness the confluences at Karnaprayag and Rudraprayag. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
| After breakfast, descend towards Haridwar via Rishikesh. Upon reaching Rishikesh, visit the famous attractions like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Muni Ki Reti. Then proceed to Haridwar (25 km). Check in to the hotel and later head to witness the Ganga Aarti. |
| After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Delhi Airport / Railway Station to Board CSTM Rajdhani Express from New Delhi at 16.55 PM Late Afternoon. |
